RULES AND CONDITIONS

From 15th January- 28th February there will be a maximum of 8 daily let rods.

From the 1st March - 15th October a maximum of 6 rods will be available for booking.

Exclusive use of the beat for a maximum of 12 rods including tackle is obtainable. Please ask for any assistance.

Boat fishing is for a maximum of two anglers. Fishing is by traditional harling or from an anchored boat at ghillie’s discretion. For safety reasons Newtyle do not recommend that more than one person fly fish’s from the boat at the same time. David Gardner, Newtyle head ghillie will be present each day from 8:30am to 5:00pm to offer beat advice.

Life jackets should be worn at all times, and these will be available in the Fishing Hut. Tenants who do not wear life jackets do so entirely at their own risk.

Please note that the Newtyle beat is a keen supporter of the Tay District Salmon Fisheries Boards Conservation Policy and encourages all Newtyle guests to release all caught salmon and seatrout during the entire season.
